
MULBERRY
White mulberries are well known around the Mediterranean and in Asia. They are mainly grown in Turkey and Greece. In baking they give a sweet and nutty taste. They can be used in bread, cakes and other goodies. Our mulberries contain a lot of fiber, calcium and iron.
Our mulberries are picked straight from the trees and dried so you can eat them at any time of the year. Our mulberries are also grown organically. Some parts of the year and some harvests are a little "more moist" than others and we think they are at their best when they are a little sticky. Mulberries are sweet and nutty in character. Eat them as they are, add to salads and use in cooking and smoothies. Feel free to mix with some of our other berries and you will get an exciting mix. Calcium contributes to normal energy metabolism. Iron helps reduce tiredness and fatigue. It is important to have a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
