KULTURES KOMBUCHA

Refreshing, fresh and healthy – the Asian health drink kombucha has taken the Western world by storm. Drink as a refreshing meal drink, an alternative to wine and beer or just because it's so tasty. A bonus; it gives you live bacterial culture, enzymes and other benefits.

Kombucha is a naturally lightly carbonated tea drink that contains live bacterial culture. By fermenting tea together with sugar and microbial culture, also called kombucha mother or kombucha mushroom, this tea drink originating from East Asia is brewed. Kombucha has a long tradition, it has been documented that the tea drink was already drunk during the Chinese Qin Dynasty in 221 BC.

Why is kombucha healthy?
The kombucha mother used in the brewing of kombucha is naturally rich in enzymes, vitamins, minerals, yeast and what it is perhaps most famous for – the live bacterial culture. During the fermentation, the drink also receives these benefits, in the process the majority of natural and useful acids are also formed. Kombucha is also known to contain B vitamins. Drinking kombucha is a good and easy way to ingest a live bacterial culture every day.

Kulture's kombucha is an organic and handmade kombucha that comes in four different flavors. Kombucha is brewed in the traditional way with organic black or green tea, organic cane sugar and kombucha culture. Kulture's kombucha is raw and unpasteurized and thus contains all the benefits that form during fermentation. Since we don't filter the kombucha, visible traces of the culture may be present, congratulations in that case, it's concentrated goodness!
